A wizened, bitter
looking old man barely acknowledges you as you enter the room.
He gives you a disapproving look, and slowly speaks. "Welcome. I am Antoine
DuCroix, the legal retainer of my lord Narsces De Lyon. He has
asked me to attend to you while he handles business elsewhere. This section of the De Lyon Manor contains
my collected legal notes and mandates regarding his lordship. Feel free to look
them over." With that, the old man returns to a book he was reading, your presence
lost to him.
