The Tavern of the Scurvy Dogs

A man of average height approaches you in the courtyard. The things you notice about him immediately is his wiry, tough looking build, the elaborate rapier which hangs at his waist, and his very esoteric hairdo. He speaks to you in hushed tones, his eyes constantly moving. "You've inquired about learning more about the pirates in the region, no? I will tell you what I can. I am Hendrick, the chief spy for milord De Lyon. To the south of here, near the original Castilian-Montaigne border, there is a little know free port. Called only 'Dog Street', this is a wild and free community, overlooked by both sides due to it's small size and limited functionality as a port. Many privateers, brigands, pirates, and mercenaries gather there. There is a particularly good place to go for information, and that is the Tavern of the Scurvy Dogs. They accept all, but the place is rough and tumble, so be careful if you go there...you should especially be mindful of the one they call 'The Nine-Breaker'. He is a known Eisen-Vendel mercenary whom shows no mercy. He governs the town with an iron hand, and if you cross him, you will die. I wish you luck on your journey." And with that, he makes off into the courtyard, fading into the bushes from view.

Dog Street is a community message board for several games in the Southern California area. This particular 7th Sea game is one of those sites that has it's message board located there.

You do need to create an account to post on the board, but it has two advantages over the Delphi accounts. One, it's much easier to register for, and two, once you've logged onto the board once from your computer, as long as your on that computer, you never have to log in again. EZBoard automatically remembers for you. Nice, eh?

Please keep posts for this game in my forum.
